The 1:4 Initiative
Bridging the rural-urban digital divide by equipping students and teachers in primary and secondary schools with foundational ICT and digital literacy skills.
We focus on:

Empowering youth with 21st-century employability skills
Smart Start
Smart Start is an early learning and literacy initiative designed to equip out-of-school children aged 4–12 in underserved communities with strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and numeracy.
This program focuses on improving the quality of basic education by providing access to creative learning experiences and literacy support for children who might otherwise be left behind.
Focus Areas:
Early reading and comprehension
Foundational writing and numeracy skills
Faith-based values and character building through storytelling
Program Schedule
Conducted exclusively during school holiday periods, Summer, Midterm, and Christmas breaks, to maximize participation and community impact.
Location - For now, the Smart Start program will run only in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, serving as the pilot location before expansion to other regions.
Storyteller
The Storyteller Program uses the power of storytelling, media, and creative arts to educate, inspire, and empower children and teenagers. By sharing meaningful stories that highlight youth voices and community transformation, the program promotes faith-based literacy, moral values, and cultural awareness.

Amplifying the voices of young people making a difference in their communities
Promoting reading culture and moral development through creative storytelling
Producing youth-centered educational and inspirational content

Esther’s Feast
A quarterly community outreach that supports children and teenagers in orphanages and low-income communities.
