Every Child Loved, Equipped and Thriving
Keeping Children in School, Building Brighter Futures
For many families, the desire to educate their children is not matched by the financial means to do so.
Rising living costs, unemployment, and economic uncertainty have forced countless parents into heartbreaking conversations with their children about leaving school. At TEF, we believe no child should have to exchange a school uniform for the burden of survival simply because their family can no longer afford an education. Through our scholarship programme, we remove one of the greatest barriers to learning, allowing children to continue their education with confidence while giving parents renewed hope that their sacrifices have not been in vain.
The impact of a scholarship reaches far beyond the individual child. Every student who remains in school is another future teacher, doctor, engineer, entrepreneur, artisan, or leader equipped to contribute meaningfully to society. Since our inception, 70 students have remained in school through TEF scholarships, and every one of them successfully progressed to the next academic level. Behind that achievement are 70 stories of resilience, seventy families whose hope was restored, and seventy young lives moving one step closer to fulfilling their God-given potential. For us, scholarships are not acts of charity; they are strategic investments in people who will one day shape stronger families, resilient communities, and a transformed Africa.
Stories of Hope
Hope Restored
Meet Fredrick Joyce.
Mummy said I might have to leave school.
There are conversations no child should ever have to hear.
For Joyce, one of those moments came when her father called her aside for a quiet conversation that would change everything.
“Joyce,” he told her gently, “I can't pay your school fees. You might have to drop out of school.”
Those words shattered the dreams she had been carefully building through her education. In an instant, the classroom she loved began to feel out of reach. The future she imagined suddenly seemed uncertain.

How We Will Keep Millions in School
Our Vision for 2035
The Esther Foundation aims to support 10,000 children through scholarships and educational assistance. We aim to reach 1 million students with skills acquisition and entrepreneurial training through purpose-driven mentorship. Raise a generation equipped to lead with excellence, integrity, and compassion. Because every child who stays in school has the potential to change a family. Every family can strengthen a community. And every community can help transform a nation.
OUR 2025 ANNUAL REPORT
A Year of Building Foundations for Lasting Impact
2025 was remarkable in The Esther Foundation's journey to transform lives through education, community engagement, and faith-driven leadership. 70 children remained in school through scholarship support, more than 2,000 students were inspired through mentorship and leadership engagements, over 100 individuals benefited from community outreach initiatives, and a growing network of volunteers and partners helped expand our reach across three Nigerian states. As we laid the foundation for future initiatives—including school reconstruction and education for displaced children—we remained committed to one belief: every child deserves the opportunity to learn, thrive, and discover purpose.
